I started in the insurance industry in 1981 when I joined the William H. Hacker, Co. a predecessor agency to what is now Arbor Insurance Group. I became President of Arbor Insurance group in 2000 when William H. Hacker, my father, retired.
I am a long time resident of West Allentown, 40 years! I reside in West Allentown with my wife Linda. I have 2 children, my son, Brian Hacker, who is Senior Large Account Underwriter for Liberty Mutual out of their Boston office and my daughter, Alison Weaver, who is the Operations Manager at Arbor Insurance Group. I have 3 grandsons and no pets.
I continue to maintain a Master Gardener designation and do volunteer gardening in community gardens throughout the Lehigh Valley while also enjoying gardening at home as well. I enjoy golf, hiking, biking on the rail trail systems in Eastern PA, spending time with my grandsons, traveling to historic sites, reading history, and vacationing in South Carolina.
